LUC no longer requires the use of patient shielding during imaging due to the latest evidence-based guidelines. Shielding provides minimal reduction in radiation exposure and can sometimes obscure important areas of the body which may affect the ability to obtain clear, accurate images. Our digital systems at LUC use the lowest possible dose for imaging.
We understand that you may have concerns about this change and we want to ensure you to feel comfortable and informed. If you prefer to have shielding during your X-Ray exam, please let the Radiology staff know before your procedure and we will accommodate your request.

"Thank you for being so compassionate and caring. Everything was explained well and in such an encouraging and understanding manner that we didn't feel like overreacting first time parents. We have always had good experiences here"

I was in and out in under 45 minutes, back home in under a hour feeling relief. The receptionist was kind, patient and efficient, The medical assistant was a joy and listened intently, she was born for the medical field. Finally the person who handled my discharge was clear with follow up instructions and very pleasant. 10/10 for everyone today, thank you! Finally, Angela was the perfect balance of problem solver and empathetic human.

"This has always been my go to place when I’m dealing with a potential sinus infection. I love that you can check in online ahead of time and not have a long wait. It’s such a clean facility, and everyone I have seen there over the years has always been very kind and professional. Highly recommend this place!"

Great experience 3 different times here for myself, and my kids! Not only has it been fast and efficient, they are finding new ways to help by adding some meds available from them immediately! I didn't have to cart my sick son around to the pharmacy after going to the doctor. Highly recommend these folks!!
