"Thank you for being so compassionate and caring. Everything was explained well and in such an encouraging and understanding manner that we didn't feel like overreacting first time parents. We have always had good experiences here"

I was in and out in under 45 minutes, back home in under a hour feeling relief. The receptionist was kind, patient and efficient, The medical assistant was a joy and listened intently, she was born for the medical field. Finally the person who handled my discharge was clear with follow up instructions and very pleasant. 10/10 for everyone today, thank you! Finally, Angela was the perfect balance of problem solver and empathetic human.

Great experience 3 different times here for myself, and my kids! Not only has it been fast and efficient, they are finding new ways to help by adding some meds available from them immediately! I didn't have to cart my sick son around to the pharmacy after going to the doctor. Highly recommend these folks!!

Frequently Asked
COVID-19 Questions

We’re here to make your visit as easy as possible.
Below are answers to common questions about COVID-19.

What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

COVID-19 symptoms vary from person to person but commonly include fever, cough, sore throat, congestion, fatigue, body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, and shortness of breath. Some individuals experience only mild symptoms, while others become more seriously ill. Because symptoms overlap with many other respiratory infections, testing is often recommended.

Testing is recommended if you’re experiencing symptoms, have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or need confirmation for work, school, travel, or personal reasons. Our providers can help determine whether testing is appropriate based on your situation.

Yes. Lansing Urgent Care evaluates patients with COVID-like symptoms and offers testing when appropriate. Your provider will review your symptoms, perform an examination, and discuss the most appropriate treatment recommendations.

Current public health guidance recommends staying home until you’ve been fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication and your symptoms are improving. Your provider can give personalized recommendations based on your health and workplace or school requirements.

Treatment depends on your age, medical history, and the severity of your illness. Many people recover with rest, fluids, and symptom management. Patients at higher risk for severe illness may qualify for antiviral medications or other treatments when evaluated early.

You should seek evaluation if you have worsening symptoms, persistent fever, dehydration, difficulty breathing, or concerns about your recovery. Early medical evaluation can help identify complications before they become more serious.

Call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department if you have severe difficulty breathing, chest pain, confusion, inability to stay awake, bluish lips or face, or other signs of a medical emergency.

Yes. Lansing Urgent Care evaluates children with COVID-19 symptoms and can help determine whether testing or additional treatment is needed. Our providers also help parents distinguish COVID-19 from other common childhood illnesses.

Good hand hygiene, staying home when sick, improving indoor ventilation, and keeping up with recommended vaccinations can help reduce your risk of infection and spreading illness to others.

No. Walk-ins are welcome every day, and you can also save your spot online for faster service. Our providers are available to evaluate COVID-19 symptoms and recommend the most appropriate care.
